Seoul is home to some of the best barbecue and meat joints, who love the experiment with spices and sauces. From American style smoked meat to Turkish kebabs, Seoul has it all. 1842 (Itaewon)

The restaurant 1842 is a Czech style meat and barbecue restaurant. The best meat dishes on the menu include Koleno, which is a braised pork knuckle dish. One of the most famous Turkish restaurants in Seoul, Kervan focuses on serving traditional style food. All ingredients used by the all Turkish chefs are halal and it is one of the 5 restaurants in Korea with official halal certification. The main Kervan restaurant is located in Itaewon, but in Gangnam you’ll find Kervan Express and Kervan Lunch. Linus BBQ is an institution, one of the best southern style barbecue restaurants in Seoul. The owner of the restaurant travelled the world to learn from the best bbq chefs. Indian Grill (Hongdae)

The Indian Grill restaurant in the Hongdae area serves traditional Indian style tandori and kebab. Their best selling meat dish is the tandoori chicken which is a full barbecue chicken prepared with Indian traditional yogurt and spices that are marinated into the chicken.
